I recently celebrated 11 years clean thanks to the treatment provided by Star center. Having tried many other treatments and clinics in the area, I can confidently say that Star is by far the best. They have always treated me with dignity and respect, and their efficiency and professionalism makes the process go quite smoothly especially in comparison to other clinics in the area, no waiting for hours and hours in long lines. I truly believe that this treatment has saved my life, and star center’s efficiency makes it so my whole life does not revolve around said treatment. For the first time ever, my life is good.

First, when I came to Star Center I felt that I had made a mistake. I thank God for keeping me at Star. To get to that sweet spot takes time and patience and you definitely have to be locked in and focused on your sobriety. Star's men's group really helped me because we had guys that completed the program. However, they come back to the group to tell their stories, helping me believe that I could complete the program as well. They helped me to believe in myself, and I am ready to start my detox. The Methadone program has improved my life considerably. It has made it possible for me to communicate more efficiently with my family and friends.
